Jingles and Lil' J are the two young and yet strong characters of the first books of the series "Defeating Lie Monsters". Through their adventure we can learn how the feelings we feel in certain situation would make us confused, would make us feel ashamed of ourselves without having done anything wrong, or guilty even if things aren't our fault, or dirty when instead we should feel our conscience clean, or maybe angry at ourselves and at the world because we can't see clearly who's to blame. With their stories we discover that all of these are lies, that we tell ourselves or that others tell us to make us feel bad. We need to fight, because it's our right to heal, to face the world looking straight, no fear and no blame. Just joy!
